We have been Moto in the Community Trust’s National Charity Partner since 2012. Moto in the Community (MITC) is a grant-making charity, supporting local groups and causes, which aims to make a difference to communities around the UK. MITC chose us as their national charity partner to help make a difference to a wider community audience, while supporting a cause that resonates with their customers and staff.
To date, MITC has donated over £3 million in support of wounded veterans and their families.
Moto staff are highly engaged and have boosted the total raised through a variety of staff and corporate fundraising events.
MITC hosts annual national collection weekends across all Moto sites, providing us with the opportunity to engage with the public during periods with a high customer footfall. Together, Moto staff and Help for Heroes volunteers join forces to bucket collect for the charity over the Easter bank holiday, as well as a special collection to coincide with Armed Forces Day. This year, there will be an additional collection in celebration of the Jubilee.
Alongside other staff fundraising initiatives, a team of Moto staff also takes to the roads of France each June to tackle our annual Big Battlefield Bike Ride.

Help for Heroes supports those with injuries and illnesses attributable to their service in the British Armed Forces. No matter when someone served, we believe that those prepared to put their lives second, deserve a second chance at life. That's why we're here to empower them to look beyond illness and injury, whether mental or physical, and help them regain their purpose, reach their potential, and have a positive impact on society.Read more - About us
