Throughout the year, we attend events that offer adaptive sporting opportunities and work with a number of sports organisations to encourage their events to include adaptive categories. Provision at events
We commit to offering you:
Accommodation the night before an event if it starts before 11am, for those who live more than two hours from the venue
Breakfast with any hotel booking
A Help for Heroes branded t-shirt or vest
A staff member on the day.
We ask the following of you:
That you arrange your travel to training (if you need financial assistance please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01980 844 354)
Pay for parking at the hotel / venue if required
Let us know 48 hours before an event if you can no longer attend (contact us via: email@example.com or by calling 01980 844 270)
Let us know ASAP, in the 48 hours leading up to the event, or on the day itself, if you are no longer able to attend (e.g. for medical / health reasons, travel problems etc).

TEAM TRUE SPIRIT EVENTS
Team True Spirit is the Help for Heroes beneficiaries’ challenge team. We aim to inspire, enable and support you to do something amazing.
The team participates in all kinds of challenges including walking, running, swimming, cycling, triathlon and mountain biking. Whatever the challenge, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive training programme and all the advice you need.
Perhaps you want to complete a couch to 5km, a triathlon or even take part in an Ironman competition. Or walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks or Hadrian’s Wall. Whatever your goal, we will have something for you.
Regular training weekends cover all challenges with some of the UK’s top coaches to guide you along the way. Training weekends include plenty of physical activity as well as talks on nutrition, core training and strength and conditioning.
