DONATE IN MEMORY OF A LOVED ONE

We are honoured to help you remember your hero

We’re always grateful for any support we receive, but in memory donations are special.

These gifts are part of your heartfelt tribute to someone who’s played an important part in your life. And the difference they make to wounded veterans’ lives is part of the lasting legacy your loved one will leave to the world.

Each in memory gift is an act of loving remembrance; and we’re honoured you have chosen our work as a fitting tribute to someone so special.

When can I give in memory?

Whether your hero passed away recently or many years ago, supporting their favourite cause in their memory is a wonderful way to celebrate the important part they played in your life.

Most people choose to donate in the first few weeks after a friend, relative, colleague or neighbour has passed away. In this way you can pay tribute to someone who’s played an important part in your life and let their family know you are thinking of them.

Many also like to pay tribute on special days such as Christmas, birthdays and wedding anniversaries. On special days like these we miss our loved ones and wish to feel close to them again. By donating in their memory, you can honour your special person and mark the occasions that were precious to both of you.

Whenever and however you choose to pay tribute, you can be sure your gift will make a lasting difference.

How can I donate in memory?

To make a one-off donation, please call our Supporter Care Team on 0300 303 9888 or or click the Donate button below or at the top of this page.  Please be sure to tick the box that lets us know that your gift is being made in memory of a loved one.

Whether you donate online or over the phone, please take a moment to tell us the name of the person you’re commemorating so that we can record your donation in their honour.

How can I donate again in memory of my loved one?

If you feel it would help you and your family to commemorate your hero again in the future, you may like to consider setting up a Hero Fund remembrance page in their name.

Hero Funds make it easy and enjoyable to build a lasting memorial to a loved one. Whether you choose to give on special occasions, organise a fundraising event, involve others or keep your fund as a private tribute, all donations are added together to build a living memorial.

Visit our Hero Funds (https://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/give-support/ways-to-give/in-memory/) page to find out how you can love, honour and remember your hero through a Hero Fund.
