What are Hero Funds? 

Thank you for thinking about creating a Hero Fund as a lasting tribute to your very own hero.

A Hero Fund is a wonderful way to remember and celebrate your loved one’s life to raise money to support veterans and their families to live well after service. It is an online tribute page where you can join with family and friends to love, honour and remember someone who’s played an important part in your life.

Every Hero Fund is unique. Whether you’re organising a funeral collection or marking a special occasion, you can set up your own remembrance fundraising page to celebrate the qualities and quirks that made your loved one so special. You can also create your own thank you message for everyone who contributes. 
 
A Hero Fund can bring families together and provide a positive focus at a difficult time. Your Hero Fund page is somewhere you can pay your respects and know you’re not alone. Many families tell us their page has become a special place they like to revisit, read tributes and be reminded of the lasting difference their loved one has made. Whether you ask others to contribute or prefer to keep your fund as a private act of remembrance, you can add to your Hero Fund however and whenever you like.
