Host a local cafe
Become a cafe host and help create a safe, welcoming space for veterans and their families in your community.
If you’re looking to make a difference, your time is worth its weight in gold. Giving your time as a volunteer enables us to provide services to help veterans and their families to live independently, and face their future with confidence.

Spread the word about our work and fly the Help for Heroes flag (sometimes literally) at one of our Charity events.
Give something back to those who gave their all by helping out with our community sports programme
Without our dedicated family of volunteers, Help for Heroes simply wouldn’t exist.
Up and down the country, people from all backgrounds and walks of life give up their time in support of those who gave their all to keep our country safe.
Some host veteran’s cafes to provide veterans, and their families, a warm, welcoming space to connect with the community. Others volunteer their time at our community sports events which help empower veterans and give them a renewed sense of purpose.
All give their spirit and energy to ensure our Armed Forces community can receive the life-changing support they need and deserve.
I've been a volunteer since 2014. I give my time to volunteer because I want to help others, to let them know they are not alone, we are there for them, however or whenever they need support.
The best part is knowing that I can help make a difference. One small act is sometimes all it takes to help lift someone up."
