When our Heroes join the Armed Forces, they make a commitment to put their lives on the line for us.
In return, we promise to support these brave men and women, and their families, for life.
Through this campaign we asked supporters to help us keep this promise.
Every day, seven men and women are medically discharged from the Armed Forces, their lives changed forever. Some have injuries so severe they would previously have been fatal, and their full impact may take years to understand.
Others have psychological wounds that sometimes do not surface until years after they have been discharged. We provide support for these Veterans, and their families, for as long as they need it.
The year before this campaign, we were able to help 4,194 wounded, injured and sick individuals. But there are still thousands out there who need us. Together we can give them one less battle to fight and promise to be there for them, now and in the future.

Battlefield wounds sustained in a split-second can take years to recover from, and some may never heal.
