Debenhams supports Help for Heroes with lots of activities throughout the year, including fundraising in stores for the whole of March, with collection tins at their tills and staff fundraising.
Part of this support includes a National Collection weekend, where our amazing volunteers sign up to bucket collect at their local store. If you’re interested in joining us and volunteering at future Debenhams collections, please click on the ‘Want to know more?’ button and complete the short form.
Volunteer Team Leader
We can only run a Collection at a Debenhams store if we have a Volunteer Team Leader, so this role is really important! We need amazing supporters like you to volunteer your time on both Saturday and Sunday. You’ll liaise with your Debenhams store to make arrangements for the weekend, and will also be the main point of contact for the Collection Volunteers who will be helping out with you.
We’ll send you some promotional items to take to the Collection and ask that you send these back to us afterwards (logistics and costs all covered by us). You’ll also be responsible for paying all monies raised through the Debenhams tills at the end of each day. If you’re organised, available all weekend and love meeting new people, this is the perfect role for you!
We also need Collection Volunteers to fundraise alongside the Volunteer Team Leader over the weekend. This role is perfect if you can only spare a couple of hours (but if you are free all day/weekend, that’s a bonus!). Either way, you’ll have a great time collecting with fellow volunteers, chatting to Debenhams customers and doing your bit to support our Heroes and their families.
Do I need to register each year?
