The Role
Community Speaker Volunteers help us make sure more people understand the work Help for Heroes does, who we support and how we can help veterans and their families within local communities. By delivering talks to a variety of audiences, you'll help us raise awareness of our work and make sure people have the information they need to further support our cause.
About You
We’re looking for friendly, confident and reliable people who genuinely want to make a difference to the Armed Forces community. You’ll be a strong communicator who is comfortable speaking to a range of audiences, both in person and online, and able to present information clearly and respond appropriately to questions
Why?
Not everybody knows what Help for Heroes does, which means there are still many veterans out there not getting the support they deserve. By speaking to community groups and organisations, you can help us reach more veterans and their families who may need our help.
