Going round the bend to support our Armed Forces community.
During our three year partnership, Polypipe raised over £100,000 for veterans and their families and was a great example of including lots of different activities in the fundraising mix.
Staff held fundraisers, including their annual Sailing Regatta at Port Solent, and took part in volunteering activities including the Tour de Yorkshire alongside the Help for Heroes volunteers. Throughout the partnership Polypipe donated 79p per sale of each WP46 Bottle Trap from their plumbing range.
Polypipe staff took part in many fundraising events such as the Annency Challenge and Great North Run, organised charity golf days and Bake for Heroes cake sales. They also ran customer-facing fundraising activities such as a trip to Saigon and Christmas giveaways which included Help for Heroes merchandise.
With so many veterans entering the construction industry, offering support as they rebuild their lives is a cause that remains close to Polypipe’s heart. The company is looking forward to contributing to the vital work of Help for Heroes.”
