Explore the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline from its best vantage points - the famous and historic Thames Bridges.

Setting out from Putney Bridge - it's East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges - each with its fascinating story, and a mid-point stop at Kennington Oval for some snacks & drinks. 25km later, it's a finish line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge.

You’ll get full support and hospitality all the way, leaving you to focus on your challenge!

Charity Sponsorship –  you pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place! 

  • 25km Challenge - £3.75 reg fee + £245 in fundraising

Mixed Funding – pay half of the event place cost, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.

  • 25km Challenge - £29.63 reg fee + £119 in fundraising

Self Fund – you pay the full cost of the event place and fundraise whatever you want, with no set target or deadline, and there’s no cost at all to the charity!

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I REGISTER TO COMPLETE THIS CHALLENGE?

The challenge is run by Action Challenge and you should register directly with them, via the 'Register Now' button. During registration Help for Heroes will already be selected, we will be told about you automatically and will be in touch. 

WHERE DOES MY FUNDRAISING GO?

Half of your fundraising target (dependent on the distance you choose) needs to be received by the Charity no later than eight weeks before the challenge. This covers the cost of your participation in the challenge.

Anything you fundraise over this amount is the money that Help for Heroes can use to provide lifelong support to our wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel, Veterans and their loved ones.

What are the guidelines for Covid-19 safe fundraising

The health and the safety of all our supporters is really important to us. Please keep safe and follow the Government Guidelines including any local lockdown requirements when doing any fundraising on behalf of Help for Heroes.  For full guidelines please check the Institute of Fundraising website to ensure you are familiar with what is required of you, the fundraiser, during the Covid-19 pandemic. You may also wish to check the latest regional guidance for EnglandScotlandWales and Northern Ireland.
