ADAPTED SERVICE DUE TO COVID-19
We have delivered an adapted service during the Covid-19 pandemic to make sure those in the Help for Heroes fellowship groups continue to feel that sense of belonging and camaraderie amongst others with a common experience and are now able to meet in a Covid secure way, at socially distanced events across the country.
We are also running 6-8 virtual get-togethers a week, split between different regions so members can chat and share experiences with those in their local area. The virtual get-togethers offer a great variety from general catch-ups, arts and crafts sessions and quizzes, to Q&A sessions with some well-known personalities.
“The get-togethers have really lifted my spirits. I have really missed catching up with people, and this has given me the opportunity to do exactly that with people who understand. Thank you for organising them, I look forward to joining more.”

"A massive thank you to help for heroes for helping me gain the confidence to join up again with cadets and again for the effort you have put in to me” – this was following the VGT with Lorraine Kelly who spoke about the cadets."
"Can I please begin by thanking you both so very much indeed for facilitating and organising the virtual get Teams togethers. They truly are excellent and I hope that they can continue into the future as an effective way of keeping in touch with our tribe."
“Thank you for putting this on it was brilliant - going through really deep depression at the moment - it’s lifted me a lot”
