Local partners across Colchester are coming together on Thursday 21 May, from 6pm to 9pm, to host a new Armed Forces Community Event, designed to showcase the opportunities, activities, support and community connections available for serving personnel, veterans of all ages, military families and children.
The event aims to bring the Armed Forces Community together with local organisations that offer social, sporting, cultural and wellbeing activities, as well as practical services, information and advice. Guests will also be able to explore an interactive Activity Zone and hear from community partners throughout the evening.
The event will take place at the CESSAC Community Café and Garrison Church, Fallowfield Road, Colchester. A wide range of partners from across Colchester have already confirmed their involvement and details are on the Facebook page.
