A group of Help for Heroes veterans have got together during lockdown to form an online gaming community, offering a safe space to share their stories and provide mutual support.
Veteran Paul Colling served in Iraq and Afghanistan, but lost the life and job he loved after a traumatic ankle injury left him in near constant pain. He's now leading a team of veterans in a Hero Up 24hr gaming marathon to fundraise for his fellow veterans.

In January 2013 Richard was shot six times, in both arms, chest and stomach. "It's only possible that me and other Veterans get the help and support because people have taken time off work and sacrificed your own time to fundraise. I feel privileged and humbled by it and it’s an honour to cycle alongside every one of them in the coming week.”
