Why support Help for Heroes on Giving Tuesday?
We’re proud to be an official Giving Tuesday charity partner this year!
Choosing to give will make a real difference to the lives of veterans and their families, helping them to recover from wounds both visible and hidden.
Giving Tuesday Ideas and Events
There are lots of ways you can support our wounded on Giving Tuesday. Here are some ideas to get you started:
Donate online – you can make a single or regular donation in support of veterans and their families here.
Hold a virtual afternoon tea or coffee morning – why not host a virtual or socially distanced afternoon tea or coffee morning and ask people to donate the cost of their refreshments?
Host an online quiz – bring together friends and family for an evening of fun by holding a pub-style quiz on Zoom or Skype.
Get gaming – put your gaming skills to the test by taking part in Hero Up, our online gaming challenge!
Hold a sweepstake – sweepstakes are a simple and fun way to fundraise. Pick your subject and ask friends and family to get guessing, in return for a small donation.
Hold a dress-up day at work – encourage your colleagues (in the office or at home) to bring out their best fancy dress. You could even offer a prize for the most creative costume!
