It has been announced that the Great North Run 2020 is cancelled. Runners have the option to transfer or cancel their places, and we have been in touch with our registered fundraisers.
As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to present challenges, we are absolutely committed to supporting the ongoing recovery journeys of our wounded, injured and sick, and their families. Our teams are working hard to adapt our services in response to the challenges presented by Coronavirus, whilst keeping our beneficiaries, colleagues, volunteers, supporters and partners safe.
We’re closely monitoring the situation, in constant contact with event providers and continually reviewing our plans in line with Government and NHS advice. We’re working to keep this page updated with any news about event dates and bookings as soon as we hear.
In the meantime, if you have a question about your event booking, you will be contacted by your event provider but if not, please do contact them direct. If you have a question about your fundraising for Help for Heroes, please email our team on email@example.com

The suggested fundraising target for this challenge is £390, of which £120 must be received by Help for Heroes by 12 June 2021 to cover the cost of your participation. Thereafter all fundraising will enable Help for Heroes to continue providing direct, practical support to our wounded veterans and their families.
Ideally, we would like your fundraising to have reached £390 within six weeks of the challenge finishing. The Help for Heroes Events Team will be on hand to guide you every step of the way to help you reach and smash that target!
