What is Armed Forces Day?

On the last Saturday each June, the nation comes together to celebrate Armed Forces Day and show support for the men and women of our Armed Forces community, past and present. This includes serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadets and their families.

Reservists come from all walks of life and occupations and are currently supporting operations worldwide, but their contribution to our Armed Forces often goes unrecognised. Reserves Day is celebrated on the Wednesday of Armed Forces Week.

Armed Forces Day is also a time to raise money to help our Armed Forces community to live well after service.

How can I get involved in Armed Forces Day?
