Living with an injury, illness, or long-term health condition can make daily life challenging, but you're not alone. Our team of nurses and occupational therapists can help you find ways to feel more comfortable, boost your independence, and improve your overall quality of life.
We can support you with the physical challenges you’re facing, whether your injury or illness happened while you were serving or afterwards.
Does walking and movement cause pain? Maybe you’re having difficulty hearing or sleeping. Perhaps certain sensations (like sounds, touch, and smell) feel overwhelming.
Whatever physical challenges you face, we can help you get the support and equipment you need to help manage your illness or injury.
Many of our nurses and occupational therapists are veterans themselves. They’ll work with you to create a healthcare plan that’s right for you, which could include -
We offer physical health support to veterans, reservists, and people who worked under UK command. You don’t have to have served in a conflict, and your condition doesn't have to be service-related. It’s never too late to ask for support.
All you need to do is complete our Get Help form. You can do this online, or call our friendly helpline team on 0300 303 9888, they’ll be happy to help you complete it.
Once we’ve received your form, we’ll get in touch to understand what’s going on. Then one of our team will arrange to meet you at home, or set up a phone or video call to get things started.
Medical advances mean more veterans survive injuries that were once fatal.
That means some now live with serious conditions needing specialist 24-hour care for life. We provide that care, and we’ll always be there for them.
The eligibility criteria for this level of support differ from those of the wider charity, but please get in touch so we can assess your needs. Even if this isn't the right match, we can still support you in many other ways.
