Get to know us

In 2007 we started out as a small team of volunteers, working out of a tin hut in Wiltshire. Now, and thanks to the incredible ongoing support we’ve received, we’re a nationwide team working out of our head office, near Salisbury, and our recovery centres around the UK. Read on to find out more about who is based at each of our locations.

Our recovery centres and support hubs

Veterans, those still serving and their families have access to tailored support at our four recovery centres in Tidworth, Catterick, Colchester and Plymouth. We also have a Community Recovery Team based in Treforest, Wales.

In all our recovery centres, our friendly teams of specialist staff and recovery experts deliver physical, psychological, financial and welfare support in safe and nurturing environments.

Our Downton office

Our head office is based in the Wiltshire village of Downton, just outside Salisbury. Here you’ll find our Marketing, Finance, HR, Events, Fundraising, IT and Supporter Care teams. It’s also home to our Trading team, who design all of our merchandise and look after our online shop.

Our London office

We also have a small office space in London, just a stone’s throw from London Bridge and Monument underground stations. The London office is home to our Communications team, who have the busy task of spreading the word about the charity. Here you’ll also find our Partnerships team, who work with our incredible corporate partners to raise funds for our wounded.

Our Tin Hut

Based in Tidworth, Wilshire – this little hut is where it all began in 2007. Covered, floor to ceiling, with newspaper cuttings and images of our fabulous fundraisers, it’s home to our National Volunteer and National Campaigns teams. The best thing about our Tin Hut is that the kettle’s always on and the biscuits are never in short supply, so if you’re ever in the area, do pop in and say hello!
