As we continue to increase and diversify the contact options available to members of the armed forces community, we are delighted to announce the launch of VeteranEquip.
VeteranEquip is a free, accessible, award-winning online tool that helps members of the armed forces community find solutions to make daily living easier by suggesting assistive aids such as bottle openers, anti-slip mats and walking frames.
The online questions can be completed by anyone, so a freiend of family member can do this on someone elses behalf. Users answer questions about daily challenges (like cooking, bathing, or managing medication), and VeteranEquip generates a tailored report with ideas for supporting aids, where to find them, and links to further support.
One of the best parts is you don't need to register or sign in at all.
The simple to use guide only requires 3 steps:
- Choose a topic
- Answer some questions
- Receive a report
VeteranEquip then produces a personalised report including:
- Dynamic questions based on individual need
- Clear, tailored advice written by Independent Occupational Therapists
- Products and equipment tailored to needs and where to purchase them
- Further help, local signposting and campaigns for your residents
- Ability to download and save your individual report
VeteranEquip is a fantastic and easy-to-use tool that will enable us to support more people, quicker.
