Categories: Invictus Games 2016 Athletes

Thomas, a former Sergeant in the Royal Air Force, watched the 2014 Invictus Games which gave him the inspiration to go and try new sports. Participating in the Invictus Games 2016 will help Thomas build more confidence strength and help him cope with PTSD the Seizures and MtBi, by getting fitter and stronger will help him cope better with his Chemotherapy medication for a Chronic blood condition.  For Thomas, being able to represent the UK would be a massive accomplishment and hopefully provide hope for others who are wounded injured and sick and motivate others in the future.

Thomas hopes selection will make his wife and children proud. Sports Recovery is having an impact on him and he believes for anyone suffering with mental health and the debilitating effects of it. The key is to have something to look forward to and is key to maintain a more active and healthy independent life going forwards.
