RAF Sgt Paul is recovery from PTSD and views the Invictus Games as a way to repay his family for their unwavering support during the darkest times in his life. Since setting his sights on Sydney, Paul’s life has turned a corner and he is now planning for life beyond the RAF. Paul said: “I owe my life to my family and want to make them proud by giving them back their husband, father and son. […] My approach to the Invictus journey has been to aid my recovery. I have gained valuable tools along the way and more importantly I have made life-long friends.”
