Karl Allen-Dobson

Former Lance corporal Karl Allen-Dobson was medically discharged from the Army in 2007. With a long-term commitment to Para-cycling, the 35-year-old from Paignton participates heavily in the British Cycling race calendar. When asked how Invictus 2018 benefits him, Karl said:  “With support from Help for Heroes I can further develop the sport I have dedicated my time to, support others in the team, and share my experiences in cycling with other Invictus Games athletes. This all makes a long-term positive impact to the recovery journey, whilst also maintaining passion, drive, goal setting, and helping others to give a sense of wellbeing.”
