Categories: Warrior Games 2019

Nobby completed his first triathlon just seven months after having his leg amputated in October 2017. Before the operation, his injury caused him to give up playing sport so he qualified as an RFU coach so he could continue to be around sports.

Through Help for Heroes, Nobby has rediscovered sports on his recovery journey and is keen to become an active sportsman again. His is looking ahead to more triathlons, including running the final leg for the first time in years. He says: “I would like to represent Help for Heroes at the Warrior Games to show that no matter what your age or disability, you can still go on and do things.”
