Catherine Nightingale

Categories: Invictus Games 2016 Athletes

For former Army Major Catherine, water is the only place she is able to relax. Her PTSD means she is unable to cope with sudden loud noises, new environments or big crowds. She also struggles to get a good night’s sleep and struggled with her transition into civilian life until she competed in the Invictus Games 2014. She hopes to repeat the experience in 2016 which will offer her a new challenge and a focus to train towards.
