Anna Pollock

Categories: Invictus Games 2016 Athletes

Anna, who served in the Royal Air Force for 7 years, suffered a bleed on her spine resulting in nerve damage which massively restricted her ability to walk and left her relying heavily on the use of a wheelchair.  In 2015, Anna was a member of the Help for Heroes team who took on the Enduroman Arch to Arc challenge – an 87 mile run, swim across the channel then a 181 mile bike ride. For Anna, to compete in the Invictus Games would help her accept her disability, knowing that she can achieve great things and no limitations can hold her back.
