H4H honoured at the Pride of Birmingham Awards

The Royal Centre for Defense Medicine (RCDM) and Help for Heroes have been honoured with the Judges' Special Award at the Pride of Birmingham Awards.

The award comes 10 years on from when the co-founders of Help for Heroes, Bryn and Emma Parry, launched the Charity having visited injured, wounded or sick soldiers at the Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham.

However, Help for Heroes wouldn't be where it is today without the enormous generosity of the Great British public. The amazing efforts our supporters have gone to help our heroes - big or small - mean so much. Receiving such recognition from the Pride of Birmingham Awards simply wouldn't be possible without them and together we really are rebuilding lives.

The judges said: “The impact of Help for Heroes has been absolutely extraordinary. This award recognises Bryn and Emma’s vision, and the ongoing hard work and selfless dedication of everyone involved with the charity.”

Here's a great video message from RCDM and Help for Heroes:
