England .V. Germany

Vauxhall came up trumps again this month with another fantastic football hospitality offer! We had six places for Band of Brothers to watch the England v Germany football game at Wembley in the FA Lounge. From the feedback we have received, everyone who attended had a fantastic time, which is just lovely to hear.

Andy, who attended, said: “I am now back in Germany after a great weekend that included the football match. After speaking to the guys that attended, we are all in agreement that the football match gave it the perfect start and we would like to once again say a huge thank you for letting us all attend.

“For me, with a German wife and children, the football match was even more poignant due to both teams wearing the poppy for the first time and it also set the tone for the rest of the weekend which included tickets to the Royal Albert Hall for the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday evening and a place near the Cenotaph for the parade on Sunday – all in, one of the best weekends I have had in almost 22 years of service. Once again, a massive thank you from me and the other guys.”

Please do keep an eye on your emails for similar opportunities as we will always advertise this out via email.

Barbarians .V. All Blacks

In addition to the above we were very privileged to take 50 Band of Brothers/Sisters to the Barbarians v All Blacks rugby game at Twickenham Stadium. We were incredibly well looked after by PaySafe who donated the hospitality box, along with excellent seats to watch the game. It was a great day had by all.

Paul was one of the Band of Brothers in attendance and he spoke of the day: “First of all I would like to thank you for making an amazing day possible for me and my wife. We have a fab time and can’t thank you all enough.

“Secondly, I would like to thank PaySafe for giving us the opportunity to share the day with them. I can’t thank you all enough for the extra opportunity of going into the changing room to meet the Ba Baas- such a lovely bunch of lads who engaged with us like one of their own. We had a great day with beaming smiles and plenty of memories made.”
