Join Mark Beaumont for an evening in aid of Help for Heroes

Posted by: Help For Heroes

Join Mark Beaumont for an evening with one of the UK’s most prolific endurance athletes and explorers

Epic adventurer Mark Beaumont, who has recently smashed the world speed record for cycling around the world (he completed the circumnavigation in an unbelievable 78 days) is giving a talk in aid of Help for Heroes on 1 November in Gillingham, Kent.  Mark will give a fascinating insight into his career as an adventurer, offering a view of what drives him and how he manages the mental and physical challenges of his extreme exploits.  Join him for just £15 by clicking here []

The evening has been organised by veteran fundraiser Steve Craddock as part of his drive to raise over half a million pounds for the charity by the end of this year – an amazing feat in its own right. Speaking about Mark Beaumont, Steve said:

“Mark is an amazing and inspiring individual.  His adventures have included cycling the length of Africa solo in 42 days (beating the previous record by 17 days), rowing to the North Pole and, most recently, smashing the record for cycling around the world by 44 days – Mark completed the circumnavigation in just 78 days and 14 hours.

We’re honoured to host this evening with Mark: the talk, in aid of Help for Heroes, promises to be riveting.  Please do join us for this great cause and a great evening.”
