Adrianna’s Update: London and the South East
February has been such a great month for BoB/S in London and the South East.
We have been watching rugby, knocking down pins, trampolining, rowing, eating dinner, pottery painting and a real highlight; Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London.
A wonderful Band of Brother asked whether we would like to offer a tour of the Ceremony of the Keys and the Yeoman Warder’s mess out to other members. Wow! What a well-organised event, and such a privileged thing to be able to witness. It was an incredible evening that will never be forgotten by all who went.
Adrianna will be spending more time in Kent and East and West Sussex to try and reach out to our BoB and BoS who are further afield! To start with it will be in cafes; please bring along anyone who you think needs Help of Help for Heroes or is eligible to join the fellowship… Watch this space!

Philippa’s Update: South Central
February has been a busy month in the South-Central Region. There was a good turnout for the February Models for Heroes session at Tedworth House. A great way to spend an afternoon and meet other local BoB and BoS.
Valentine’s Day saw a coffee morning at the NSPCC children’s centre in Tidworth. If you have small children and have never visited it has a great play area, baby sensory room and regular coffee mornings for those that would like to attend.
There was a brilliant family day with Wiltshire Wildlife on 15th February at Langford Lake. Although it was cold, the sun shone and everyone enjoyed taking part in a huge treasure hunt around the lake. Other activities included tie-dying bags, clay modelling and making much needed fat balls for the birds. The following week we visited Poole and enjoyed meeting some new members over lunch.
The monthly Tedworth House Recovery Centre coffee morning is proving popular and this month the careers team joined us and told everyone a little more about what they do at Help for Heroes.
