Sea Cadet's Duty to Bake

Tuesday 22 May 2018

Devon McInnes has got his eyes set on joining the Navy when he’s finished studying. But his mum, Karen, said he had to finish school first.

The 17-year-old Sea Cadet from Norwich comes from a military family, and his passion for all things Armed Forces has recently been recognised in being made the Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk’s assistant.

Now he wants to increase his support for those who one day he hopes to serve with by taking part in Bake for Heroes.

With a shared love of brownies, the mother and son team will hold a bake sale during Armed Forces Week.

Watch the video to see who has a secret ingredient, and who thinks their brownies are the best!
