This Armed Forces Week, Blackpool will host a variety of events to mark the occasion.
The feature event, ‘Dance for Victory’ is sure to get the whole town ‘waltzing’. Taking place at the famous and grand Tower Ballroom, the event will kick off eight days of celebrations. Merlin Entertainments are kindly organising the event on Saturday, June 23 in aid of Help for Heroes.
Alex Mendham and his Orchestra will perform a wide range of wartime classics. Alongside him will be Forces Sweetheart, Madame Galina, and other renowned acts. It promises to be a fun-filled evening packed with excitement held in support of our wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel.
If you enjoy dancing, history and have a passion for all things military, then head to Blackpool Tower and soak in the fantastic atmosphere.
Tickets cost £19.18 and are for over 18’s only, with all proceeds from the event going directly to Help for Heroes.
