Many of us like a drink at the end of a long day, or when we’re socialising with friends or celebrating a special occasion. Every so often, it’s good to check in with ourselves and have a realistic look at our drinking.
How do I know if I am drinking too much?
Research suggests that alcohol-related problems are more common amongst Veterans and in the military community than with people from other walks of life. Here are some easy steps to help make sure you have a healthy attitude to drinking.
These four “CAGE” questions are a quick and easy way to find out a bit more about your relationship with alcohol:
If you answered ‘yes’ to one of these questions, your drinking may be a problem. If you answered ‘yes’ to more than two questions, it’s likely that alcohol either is, or could have been, an issue in your life.
