The Phoenix Winter Games 2016

Help for Heroes Recovery Centre Tedworth House will host the Phoenix Winter Games this week, an annual sporting competition between all four of the charity’s centres (Tidworth, Colchester, Catterick and Plymouth).

The Games will be held over four days at the Tidworth-based centre. Wounded, injured and sick servicemen, women and veterans will take part in a range of activities including sledge dog racing, skiing, curling, sledge hockey and clay target shooting.

The competition is designed to be all inclusive and to bring together servicemen, women and Veterans recovering from injury or illness and give them an opportunity to enjoy some healthy competition in a fun environment.
