Norwegian NightKapp Rally

On June 18 2014, 18 friends attempt to drive 30 year old cars nearly 3,000 miles visiting various landmarks along the way, hoping to raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes.

The Nordkapp NightKapp is their 2014 car rally to raise money and awareness for the Help for Heroes. They aim to take a group of cars nearly 3,000 miles to Nordkapp, the most northerly tip of Europe, in 3 days to coincide with the Summer Solstice on the 21 June. Their starting point is Berkhamsted, UK with their first planned stop being Riga, Latvia some 1,400 miles later. They have nine cars and have set themselves the challenge to buy a Porsche 944 for around £1,100 and only spend as much money as needed to make the car roadworthy and safe.

To find out how they are getting on and for further information visit their Facebook page.
