Drumming for Heroes!

In 2011 a team of some truly inspirational and dedicated people transported a lambeg drum from Brixham, Torbay to many locations in Scotland and England before crossing the North Channel and walking the 113 miles from Carrickfergus to the Boyne Heritage Centre at Drogheda, Republic of Ireland.

The team raised an astonishing £61,000 for Help for Heroes by taking on this challenge, but they haven't stopped there! This year they have taken on the epic challenge of cycling from the top to the bottom of the UK, John O'Groats to Lands End, covering close to a 1,000 miles! To make the challenge that extra bit difficult, they are aiming to complete the cycle within 7 days, leaving on the 7th June and planning to be finished by the 15th June.
