What NG Bailey's vote means to us

Thank you, NG Bailey, for clicking to find out more…

Did you know that the British Military deploys
2,000 Service Personnel overseas every month,
and every month 200 are medically discharged?

This means that their purposeful careers are cut short due to illness or injury, whether physical, mental or both.

Every year, more people are coming forward for support and we need to ensure we are there for every one of them, from the moment they need us, for as long as they need us. Physical wounds, psychological struggles, career difficulties, welfare issues...whatever the problem, Help for Heroes is here to support those affected by military service and their loved ones.

With less presence in the media, our income is dropping whilst our need is growing. NG Bailey’s financial contribution and support are vital to us: for every pound you donate, you will make a difference to someone’s life.

How your donation helps

To keep our partnership with NG Bailey fresh and exciting, we have a range of campaigns planned throughout the year.

Below are some examples of the different activities you can take part in:

Learning opportunities

Helping yourself

As a partner of NG Bailey, we want to give back to you. Therefore, throughout our campaign calendar, we will provide information packs with tips from our professionals who work with the people we support, to help you improve your mental health, physical wellbeing and enable you to be there for others around you. This can range from Mental Health First Aid to talks from Invictus athletes about their journey and how to train like a pro.

Pathfinder Career Recovery scheme

As an NG Bailey employee, you could complete our ILM training qualification to provide mentoring to one of our Veterans, using the skills and knowledge you’ve developed on the job.

Pathfinder volunteer days

Bring a team to one of our amazing Recovery Centres to work alongside our beneficiaries, taking part in physical activities such as gardening, and work not only the body but also the mind.

Veterans at NG Bailey

Share how you have used your transferable skills in the workplace and built a career with our Veterans: this can be a really valuable source of inspiration and insight for those who are struggling to find their new career path.

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Help for Heroes; we’re really excited at the possibility of partnering with NG Bailey.
