Survey Prize Draw

Terms & Conditions
  1. The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of Help for Heroes, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

  2. Step 2 It is a virtual fundraising challenge run by Help for Heroes.

  3. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.

  4. All entries must be submitted via the Step 2 It participant survey. To enter the draw you must have registered on the Step 2 It website, www.step2it.helpforheroes.org.uk and completed the feedback survey, including your email address as of 29/09/2020. Only one entry per person is permitted.

  5. The opening date for entries is: 15 June 2020 to 29 September 2020. Entries received outside these times will not be accepted.

  6. Help for Heroes accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, computer hardware or software failure, of any kind.

  7. A winner will be chosen by random draw on the following date: 30 September 2020 ("Draw Date").

  8. The winner will receive 1 x £50.00 Help for Heroes Shop voucher (“Prize”).

  9. The winner will be notified via email by the Events Team on Wednesday 30th September 2020 and must call the Help for Heroes Supporter Care Team on 0300 303 9888 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) to place an order/ redeem the prize. Please note that the items purchased using the prize can only be posted to a UK postal address. If a winner does not contact the Supporter Care Team within 20 working days of being notified that they have won the prize, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Help for Heroes will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

  10. The items purchased using the prize will be sent to the winner by post (standard UK delivery), providing the winner contacts the Supporter Care Team within 20 working days to redeem it. Please visit https://shop.helpforheroes.org.uk/pages/delivery for more information on how your delivery will arrive.

  11. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Items purchased using the prize are exchangeable but non-refundable.

  12. The decision of Help for Heroes regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

  13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Help for Heroes reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

  14. Help for Heroes reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

  15. Insofar as is permitted by law, Help for Heroes will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Help for Heroes its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  16. By entering the draw, you consent to the use of your email address being used by Help for Heroes only for the purpose of administrating the prize draw. Your pre-existing consent and preferences will be maintained. Information about how Help for Heroes manages personal data you provide can be found in our Privacy Policy on our website.

  17. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

  18. The Promoter of this prize draw is Help for Heroes. Help for Heroes is a charity registered in England and Wales (1120920) and Scotland (SC044984).
