Tough Free Tough Mudder Charity Place

We have a limited number of free charity places available when you pledge to fundraise £300 for Help for Heroes. You will be required to raise 50% of the fundraising target three weeks before your chosen event, at which point we will provide you with a code to register your free charity place directly with Tough Mudder. To get involved simply tell us why you support Help for Heroes and would like to become a “Mudder” by clicking the “Free charity place” button.

When your place is confirmed or if you've already secured a place, simply click the “Register your fundraising” button to tell us you’re becoming a “Mudder”!

 

What is Tough Mudder?

Tough Mudder is an international assault course designed by the Special Forces with the intention of pushing you further than your fitness levels demand.

With several Mudder events taking place across the year, it's up to you whether you take on Tough Mudder in the sweltering heat or the freezing cold.

What distance is Tough Mudder?

There are two options: the full 10 mile run with 20+ obstacles or the half 5 mile run with 13 obstacles. Obstacles include crawling under razor wire, scaling inverted fences, reaching the summit of 'Mount Everest' and getting a buzz out of Electroshock Therapy.

How do I register for Tough Mudder?

We have limited free charity places available when you pledge to fundraise £300. Please click “Free charity place” to express your interest and we will be in touch to let you know if you have been successful.

Alternatively, you will need to head directly to the Tough Mudder website to confirm your entry in whichever event you would like to complete. Simply click ‘Register for this challenge’ to register directly with Tough Mudder.

Once you’ve registered with Tough Mudder, click “Register your fundraising” and tell us you’re becoming a Mudder! When you do, we’ll provide fundraising support and a Help for Heroes running vest to show your incredible support around the course.

I’m not sure I’m ready to complete Tough Mudder, what can I do?

Good news! Tough Mudder have recently added 'half' distances to many of their events. 5 miles, 12 of their famous obstacles and all of the excitement you’d expect from the muddiest of assault courses.
