Where does my fundraising go?

The suggested fundraising target for this challenge is £4,000, of which £1,790 must be received by Help for Heroes by Friday 2nd December 2016 to cover the cost of your participation. The £2,210 we receive beyond this cost covering target is the money which allows H4H to continue providing direct, practical support to our beneficiaries. Ideally, we would like your fundraising to have hit £4,000 within 6 weeks of the challenge.

What will the trekking be like?

Distances will vary each day and you can be trekking between 4-9 hours per day. The terrain with vary as you pass through paths and tracks through villages, farmland and jungle. Some are wide and used by carts, others will be narrow and overgrown and sometimes slippy. You will cover hilly terrain which can seem steeper in the heat.

Can I sign up for more than one challenge?

Yes, of course you can as long as you are committed to hitting the suggested minimum targets for each event. We ask that you fundraise for your challenges chronologically ensuring that you hit target for your first challenge before fundraising for your following challenge.
