Help for Heroes will be recruiting and training a team of 20 competitors to travel to San Antonio, Texas to compete in the 2020 Department of Defence (DOD) Warrior Games, which are due to be held from 21-28th September.
Around 300 competitors from the USA, Canada, Australia, Netherlands and Denmark, as well as Team UK will compete in 11 sports, including, Archery, Athletics, Cycling, Golf, Indoor Rowing, Powerlifting, Shooting, Sitting Volleyball, Swimming, Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby.

In the lead up to these Games, Help for Heroes will be running a programme of activity for the selected team, including non-travelling reserves, which will include a multi-sport training camp and several sport-specific events or activities.
To apply to represent Team UK at the Warrior Games in 2020, please read the information below carefully, before clicking ‘Apply’ to complete your application.
Individuals applying for the Warrior Games must be eligible for support from Help for Heroes, as per the below eligibility policy. Every applicant will be required to submit their documentation prior to the Selection Panel meeting.
There is a cost to individuals involved in the Warrior Games programme, as not all training costs will be covered by Help for Heroes. If you are worried about finances and are considering apply for support from the Grants Team, please read the below document regarding the help we can offer.
