Drama Week

What is it?

A week-long development week which will give attendees the opportunity to build their confidence in expressing themselves and speaking out in front of people through the medium of theatre. The week is designed for people of all abilities and experience and would suit those with an interest in joining a local theatre group but lack the confidence to do so.  Activities included are; drama games, confidence exercises, a trip out to a working theatre (and possibly a show), speaking with a professional actor, an informal performance at the end of the week.

Wounded, injured and sick veterans and serving personnel

Why is it offered?

Drama can be a stimulating and therapeutic activity for many individuals, allowing self-expression and greater confidence when speaking to others. Through a variety of activities, you get the space to express yourself and learn new skills in a safe and comfortable environment with a group of like-minded peers
