Our Case Managers, Veterans’ Clinical Liaison Nurse and Hereford 1-2-1 Veterans’ Liaison identify priority areas to improve physical and mental health, wellbeing and help in reducing social isolation, including advocacy, grants, housing, and signposting to partner agencies to develop a pathway to a happier, healthier life with regained purpose.
Help for Heroes has developed online activities, events and virtual meet-ups, to provide a sense of camaraderie and a chance to catch up with like-minded people.
We can also refer into our Hidden Wounds Mental Health Service which comprises of Psychologists, Counsellors and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and offers a confidential, evidence-based range of psychotherapeutic interventions, tailored to individual needs. We accept referrals for all psychological difficulties for those veterans, serving personnel and family members eligible for Help for Heroes support.
Our expert team works with partners in the Armed Forces Community across Wales and has a dedicated Veterans’ Liaison in Hereford.
