A new training camp series, open to both those wishing to try rowing for the first time, and those more experienced rowers, has been launched in partnership with Help for Heroes and the GB Rowing Team.

The series has been designed to give serving and veteran wounded, injured and sick, access to elite level coaching and preparation by Help for Heroes Sports Recovery and the GB Rowing Team in the build up to key competitive opportunities in 2015.

As part of the series, individuals will have the opportunity to:

• Experience a series of elite athlete camps and meet Paralympic athletes
•Train alongside GB Rowing Talent squad athletes
•Undergo Paralympic and Rowability Classification
•Receive bespoke support from the teamthrough the camps and in the build up to targeted competitions

The GB Rowing Talent Camp Series will begin in February 2015. To register your interest in taking part in the camp series, please send an email to Jayne Kavanagh: jayne.kavanagh@paralympics.org.uk by 16th January 2015. The series is open to all, no rowing experience is required.

The first competition in the Help for Heroes Sports Recovery and GB Rowing Talent Camp Series will be the British Indoor Rowing Championships which takes place on 8th February 2015.
