The Sports Recovery Team
Meet the members of the Help for Heroes Sports Recovery Team.
As National Sports Recovery Press Officer, Stephanie is responsible for driving awareness of Help for Heroes’ extensive Sports Recovery programme through traditional and social media channels. This includes the amazing sporting stories of our wounded, injured and sick at both a grass roots and performance level.
Stephanie has an inherent interest in sport, with over seven years’ experience working within a sports PR and communications capacity, including work on the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. More recently, and since joining Help for Heroes in 2014, she was part of the team that helped tell the stories of the British Armed Forces team at the Invictus Games.
Stephanie has a lifetime interest in equestrian sport; she also Captained her university rowing team, going on to compete at Henley Women’s Regatta in 2009. More recently she completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2011 and 2012 and is looking for her next challenge.
