View the Media Phase 1 - Parker VC
The Royal Navy (RN) and Royal Marines (RM) opened a temporary accommodation block and gymnasium in early 2011. Hasler Company, part of the RN Personnel Recovery Centre, is based in Plymouth.

The expansion of the facilities at HMS Drake, ultimately for use by all three Services, is being supported by H4H.
H4H have agreed to rake an 18 year lease from the MoD, running to the end of the existing Private Funding Initiative (PFI) arrangements, to complete the capital works of both Parker VC and Endeavour centre. Following the completion of the build project H4H will sublease to the MoD for a minimum of 10 years.

Parker VC is a new build accommodation block and includes cabins, breakout rooms and social space. At Interim Operating Capability (IOC) the centre has 24 temporary cabins and a series of enhanced cabins. The capacity will increase to 60 cabins in late Autumn 2012 when it reaches Full Operation Capability.

H4H has committed to fund the capital build at a cost of £10m. Parker VC operating costs are likely to be funded by H4H as a cost of around £200,000 per annum alongside the MoD.

Phase II - Endeavour
Complementing Parker VC, the Endeavour recovery complex will have facilities to support rehabilitation. Facilities will includes a swimming pool, hydro pool, gymnasium and physiotherapy unit (similar to the Defence Medical Centre at Headley Court).

H4H has committed to fund the capital build at a cost of around £10.5m. Endeavour operating costs will be funded by H4H alongside the MoD who have committed a capped £150,000 each year for the next 10 years.
