Former RAF sergeant John Poole from Glan Conwy completed his first sky dive in support of Help for Heroes at an amazing 85 years of age!
Jumping from a terrifying 13,000 feet and watched by two of his daughters, Dawn and Shelley, Mr Poole said he “wasn’t fazed at all” after landing safely on the ground in Northampton.
He said: “I’ve been in a microlite three times, in a helicopter and flown in a Tiger Moth but I wanted to do something special for Help for Heroes.” A huge personal accomplishment complemented by an incredible fundraising total of £2503.27. Well done Mr Poole!
