Tamsin Ball from Bideford in Devon has been busy singing throughout the UK in aid of Help for Heroes. Tamsin,19, who has already been described by some as the 'ultimate classical crossover artist' has been performing in theatre productions, musicals and pantomimes since she was four. The singer's gruelling busking tour which has seen her hitting some of the UK's largest shopping malls, hotels, holiday parks and even London's West End theatres, has raised an incredible £27,991 for H4H to date. Tamsin's tireless, selfless work for charity is truly inspiring.
“It’s certainly hard at times when it’s pouring with rain,” says Tamsin, “but it’s always so worth it when people are transformed by the music and you see so many inspired at the opportunity to give.”
Help for Heroes is a cause Tamsin is particularly passionate about, having tragically lost a member of her own family in Iraq. Her entire family are determined to do what they can to help others. Speaking of her work for Help for Heroes Tamsin remarked: "I've been singing all my life and it's humbling to be able to put my talents to good use for the charity. I’m really passionate about the work they do with injured soldiers or those with missing limbs, as well as those who are suffering with trauma, which is something they are focusing on at the moment. I’m really pleased with how much we've raised."
Tamsin's fundraising for Help for Heroes is set to increase as the tour continues in earnest in the coming months and can next be seen in Westfield shopping centre, London on 10 August. Thank you Tamsin, and keep up the fantastic work!
