St Mary’s church in Attleborough made a wonderful setting for the concert and the 15th century rood screen was a unique stage backdrop. The Raven Quartet were as pleasing to the eye as they were to the ear as they played a varied and entertaining programme which ranged from Mozart to Marricone. The Champagne and canapés during the interval were also a great success.
Everyone, including Raven had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The concert raised £2000 for Help for Heroes!

Daniel Johnson and the Air Traffic Simulator Team have raised £308, with 120 people attending the fantastic tour in support of H4H.
I am one of the managers of the Heathrow Air traffic Simulator. It’s a 360 degree surround sim with the ability to go flying wherever you want so I organised a tour of Heathrow, a trip to Wembley, flying round the skyscrapers of London and then some aerobatics for the more brave hearted. Each tour lasted 15 mins and everyone paid £2 plus any money for the raffle. The top prize of the rafflewas a tour round the new Heathrow tower with the second prize being a blade from a concord engine.
The photos are of a couple of the groups that attended.
Thank you from all the Team at H4H! |
