Stoll (formerly known as Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation) is a charity that provides housing and rehabilitative support to vulnerable and disabled ex-Service men and women.
The charity's Mission Statement is: ''To house and support vulnerable Veterans to live as independently as possible'.
Stoll currently has 223 Servicemen and women with support needs.
Allocation of their housing is prioritised to Veterans who are vulnerable due to: Disability, Homelessness, Age, Care needs, Drug and alcohol dependency, Mental Health issues, Physical health issues, other support issues.
Grant funding of £476,000 from Help for Heroes has been used to support the realisation of three disability units which will improve Stoll’s ability to support wounded, injured or sick Veterans.
Stoll provides the same level of service to our wounded, injured or sick Veterans as they would any other Stoll tenants. Specifically Stoll will provide support to all residents, including;
• Motivation and taking responsibility
• Self-care and living skills
• Managing money and personal administration
• Social network and relationships
• Drug and alcohol misuse
• Physical health, Emotional and mental Health
• Meaningful use of time
• Managing tenancy and accommodation and Legal issues
Additionally Help for Heroes are funding outreach support on an annual basis of £50,000
