Help for Heroes strives to achieve the best for the men and women of Great Britain’s Armed Forces, both serving and veteran. We are proud to work with other Service charities to make sure that the wounded, injured and sick get the support they deserve. Here is how Help for Heroes' grants have improved the support available to individuals.
The Individual Recovery Programme
The Individual Recovery Programmes (IRPs) are for those whose injuries mean that they will have to move on into civilian life. We have committed a further £3.75m each year until 2014 to support the IRPs. Typically, this fund will be used to enhance the resettlement package already available to Servicemen as they leave and to help give them every chance at a successful future. As with the QRF, this will be administered by each of the Service’s benevolent funds and will be an integral part of the Service’s Individual Recovery Programmes.
